My old case was too old to protect my instrument, 20 years old now. I got myself the classy ruby one and this case surprised me with its quality. I fell in love with the appearance first and when the case arrived in a nice package, it looks even more beautiful than in the photos. It is nicely built and constructed, sturdy and exquisite. There is even a place for my shoulder rest. Both my two violins fit well thanks to the adjustable fixture. Lightweight and easy to carry, this case is everything that I'd hoped for.
